Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 in 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former politician, and a television host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball declared that they would not be on the show in May 2021. They planned to launch their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experience as a newly-wed mom during the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the people of that country and developed an appreciation for US political influence across the globe. She was part of the Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 15, 2015. She launched the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
