Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been the recipient of many prizes including a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also received two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara made her name as an actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an comedy troupe that was based in Toronto. She was part of the main ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd first began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara received critical acclaim for her comedic writing and acting skills which earned her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for the Variety Series in 1982. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
