Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 through 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she was working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 as the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign. In the year 2000, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. [20] The speculations that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left White House in the year 21 were fueled by her hiring by the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30th, 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end.
